Cracker Barrel Corporate Office requests that RVers obtain permission from store before parking overnight, & this store follows this policy. Park in one of five marked BUS/RV spaces in back of store, or as directed by store, or as directed by store. RVs that won't fit in those spaces may receive permission to park along one edge of lot, or may need to park RV in one of these spaces & then unhook toad or trailer. Mar 11, 2020: RVer reports that Overnight RV Parking and longer-stay camping are allowed, confirming 13 earlier reports from Jan 2008 thru Oct 2019. This tract is not part of surrounding Anza-Borrego State Park, but a new regulation limits camping here and at Anza-Borrego State Park to a total of 30 days in any calendar year, and new signage states this limit. No marked sites -- dispersed camping. No services or hookups, no dumping. Dump station at Borrego Palm Canyon State Park (pay day use fee). Commercial dump station at Desert Gas & Auto in Borrego Springs. Can be noisy on weekend days due to ATV use nearby. Note that all vehicles must be street legal and driven only by licensed drivers. New pit toilets, allowing use by non-self-contained RVs. Large mailbox near rockpile at camping area entrance is used by campers as a book exchange. Most services, fuel, laundry, food, auto parts, restaurants, etc.) available in Borrego Springs; local library charges $5/year for library card. Mar 2020 RVer reports strong & fast ATT signal; good Verizon with slow upload. Max stay: 30 days in any calendar year. 2020 rate: still free.
Directions
