Jun 07, 2020: RVer report confirms 20 earlier reports from Dec 2009 thru Oct 2019, & info provided to OvernightRVParking.com by City. Overnight RV Parking is allowed but is no longer free. City Park has 5 level asphalt back-in sites on lakeshore, with 20/30/50A E/W hookups. W hookups are below 3 metal plates in ground, well behind rigs; turned off (& possibly removed to below ground level) in winter. Dump station, but there's a dip in the road where longer rigs scrape pavement; road slopes sideways away from dump station, so complete emptying of tanks is difficult or impossible. Vault Toilet. Dumpsters. Mar 2017 RVer reports good 4G Cell Service. Sites are level, lighted, quiet & area appears safe. This 75 acre park surrounding a 250 acre lake has other parking areas suitable for dry camping as well. Appears to be busy or full on summer weekends, less so on weeknights. Open all year. No reservations, first come, first served. Register & pay on site. Max stay: no limit. 2020 rate: $15/night.
Directions
I-40, Exit 38, then S on SR 6 (Main St) ~ 0.3 mi, R on Carter Rd ~ 0.5 mi, L on Washington Ave ~ 1.1 mi, R into park, bear either L or R around large loop ~ 0.5 mi to RV spaces. Go L around loop to back into spaces, R around loop to park nose-in.

May 26, 2020: RVer reports that Overnight RV Parking is allowed, confirming multiple reports from Oct 2016 & earlier. No signage of any kind found. Fishing Access road exits EB I-90 & returns to I-90 ~ 0.3 miles later. Park along shoulder. Best suited for narrow RVs with no slideouts. Narrow shoulder may make it impossible to extend slides without blocking roadway & risking a collision. Level, unlighted, with traffic noise from I-90. No amenities.
Directions
I-90, ~ Milepost 29.5, serving WB traffic. No signage; watch carefully or you'll miss the exit, just before bridge over St. Regis River.
